a week you won't forget

summer camp

Camps are designed for Introductory through Training Level Event Riders under tutelage of a Level 3 USEA certified head instructor, Jim Moore, to accommodate the different skill sets. Jim holds a B.S in Equine Science, is a Graduate “A” U.S. Pony Clubber, and has ridden Internationally Advanced 3-Star!

With safety being our number one concern, we base our practices under the U.S. Pony Club standards. We prepare you with skills to compete in eventing successfully! Our Junior camp is from 9 – 4 p.m. daily with before and after care provided at minimal charge. Both camps include daily riding lessons in the eventing disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, as well as daily horse management lectures in veterinary and farrier care. The last day of Junior Camp is “Friends and Family Day!” for everyone at 2pm, and Adult Camp will perform a Mock Horse Trials at 10 a.m.! Other activities in the Junior Camp are swimming, volleyball, a field trip to Messick’s Farm, and horse games on and off the horse! In Junior Camp, all ages from 10-17 are welcome. All campers in both camps need to meet experience of Intermediate or Advanced Level by our riding school standards.
