Greyline
In 1986, Greyline was purchased by Jim & Sue Moore from Nancy Gooding of Plum Creek Hollow in Larkspur, Colorado to be an Event horse. He is a 16 hand grey Thoroughbred Gelding that raced for one year and then was turned into a Show Horse. Jim campaigned him for two years at the Training and Preliminary level. In 1987 he was “High Point Horse at Two Levels” for Area IX United States Combined Training Association as well as “Preliminary Horse of the Year” for Area IX USCTA and Mountain States Combined Training Association. His forte has always been Show Jumping and was almost sold to professional show jumper Rodney Jenkins that year when he was spotted at the Virginia Horse Trials at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia. “Greyline” was known for trying to clear the entire water complex on Cross-Country courses instead of splashing through them, he also never wanted to touch a rail. Greyline was later sold to a young show jumping rider in California and his name was changed to “Lynx” . Most recently he has been shown as a Grand Prix Show Jumper on the West Coast by a professional rider.
